Collaborative

Being a collaborative leader means making sure everyone’s part of the process, which helps boost team performance. When people feel comfortable sharing their ideas and perspectives, it leads to smarter decisions, more creativity, and stronger trust within the team. I’ve found that this approach not only makes us better at handling challenges but also improves productivity. Plus, it creates a more positive work environment where everyone feels appreciated and involved, making the whole experience more rewarding.

A good leader needs to be adaptable and make quick decisions when unexpected situations come up. I’ve learned that being flexible and open to new ideas helps encourage creativity within the team. Staying calm during tough times is really important because it keeps everyone motivated. I try to see obstacles as chances to learn, and I encourage teamwork and problem-solving among my peers.

A resilient leader is a leader that people will trust, in this image, I am the captain of our basketball team, despite only having five players present, tired the whole game, and losing the game, I commended my team for fighting up until the end and told them that the fight is not over, our season has just begun and we will surely turn it around. With practice practice practice, improvement will come and wins will be achieved.

A great listener

A leader should listen more than he speaks especially when it comes to his members. By simply hearing your members out, you let them voice out what they feel inside. I've learned to listen more than speak as it is very effective and allowed me to be more emphatic when it comes to communication with people. Listening allows you to be one methaporically with the other person and will give you time to think and process what you want to say as a response.

A teachable leader is someone who possesses a growth mindset, someone who is humble, and someone who accepts correction easily. This is a person who does not let his pride get in the way of his opportunity to learn and improve. In this image, I am with my mentor from my previous university, no matter whether I am right or wrong, I saw that there will always be an opportunity to improve myself whether academically or in life.

If there is one thing I learned is that people trust a leader if they feel understood or heard. An emphatic leader is someone who is willing to put oneself in the shoes of others. Because seeing things from other people's perspectives allows you to understand the type of person they are, which can help you know their needs, concerns and emotions.

A good leader is someone who puts all their efforts into working hard for themselves and for others. They should know what to do and how to lead other people with their own knowledge and skillsets they earned with their hard work. I learned that people who tend to work hard always seem to be the ones who are guaranteed a successful life because they put all their efforts into trying to achieve what they want to achieve.

A good leader must be good at decision-making. They must know what move to make next in order for success. A leader should know the choice that will benefit their group the most by carefully examining the problem and thinking of the best possible choice to solve it. I learned that leaders who are good at decision-making tend to know how to lead and operate the group. They know who fits the right tasks and know how to properly create a plan or a schedule to keep the group organized. You can always depend on a leader who is good at making decisions, because they'll always make the right decision that'll benefit the whole group.
