During this time India had many advancements including mathematics, medicine, science, technology, engineering, art, literature, logic, astronomy, religion philosophy. A scholar named Aryabhata developed the concept of zero using a decimal numbering system. It’s a system that uses symbols 0-9 like today. At this day and age it’s called the Arabic system.  This isn’t all Aryabhata did. Aryabhata created the concept of pi and calculated this mathematic function to four decimal places.
