The first video I thought was helpful was the 5 Active Reading Strategies for Textbook Assignments. The reason why I chose this video is because I have terrible reading comprehension. So I chose this video in hope that I can learn new ways to help remember anything that I have just read. When I began to watch this video I saw some familiar strategies and even new ones that I think will be very helpful for me in the future. My favorite strategy I will be using in the future is every chapter I read I will write a summary and get all important information. I am glad I chose this video because I feel like I have learned great and new information I know I can apply.

The second video I thought was helpful was the Read More Books: 7 Tips for Building a Reading Habit. Like I stated in my paragraph before, I have terrible reading comprehension and I believe the more I read the better I will get at reading. This video was very helpful and it made me understand that I should not only make big goals but I should make small goals to reach my big goal. The tip that seems like it will be most beneficial to me is to set a goal of a minimum number of pages I should read a day. This goal is so simplistic that its really sad that I haven't tried it before. I feel like this is the most helpful video out of these three because these tips will help me in every aspect in reading not only just textbooks.

The third video that I thought was helpful was the How to Read Your Textbooks More Efficiently. I chose this video because I not only have bad reading comprehension but I have a terrible time trying to read textbooks because they are full of information that I can't remember all in one read. This video was the only video that actually gave me new strategies on how to read textbooks. These strategies seem very helpful but I don't think they are helpful for myself personally. The strategy I find most helpful out of this is to think of reading a textbook like engaging with a friend. He said that I should always have a question or something to think about after reading from a textbook.

I chose this article because it helps explain multiple ways on how to have better reading comprehension skills. This fits in the videos because people being able to read a textbook better is the same thing as comprehending what the textbook means. This website was very helpful because it not only gave me tips on what to do while reading it but what to do before reading it to get a understanding about the subject.

I chose this article because one of my main problems while reading is that I can not stay focused. This fits into the videos because being able to concentrate while reading will also help comprehending and remembering what you just read so that you can apply it.
