The reason why I chose this video is because I have terrible reading comprehension. So I chose this video in hope that I can learn new ways to help remember anything that I have just read. When I began to watch this video I saw some familiar strategies and even new ones that I think will be very helpful for me in the future. My favorite strategy I will be using in the future is every chapter I read I will write a summary and get all important information. Like I stated in my paragraph before, I have terrible reading comprehension and I believe the more I read the better I will get at reading. This video was very helpful and it made me understand that I should not only make big goals but I should make small goals to reach my big goal. The tip that seems like it will be most beneficial to me is to set a goal of a minimum number of pages I should read a day. This goal is so simplistic that its really sad that I haven't tried it before. I chose this video because I not only have bad reading comprehension but I have a terrible time trying to read textbooks because they are full of information that I can't remember all in one read. This video was the only video that actually gave me new strategies on how to read textbooks. These strategies seem very helpful but I don't think they are helpful for myself personally. The strategy I find most helpful out of this is to think of reading a textbook like engaging with a friend.
