HOW TO USE JOTS: After your class has collected 'jots' or 'stickies':
 a. Have a discussion about the book.
b. Organize the jots to begin to 'write' an essay about the book. This activity can be whole group or small group.This process can easily be used to model a think- aloud writing project.
c. Choose 2 or 3 of the more insightful jots to use as writing prompts for another writing assignment.
d. Distribute the jots to have a fishbowl discussion or  'say something' discussion with the whole group.
e.
