Every chapter has an adventure going on with Michael and his friends because of the special powers some of them have. They are following a voice to find Michael's mother who went missing in the first book. Will they find his mother in this book? The end of this book makes you wonder what is going to happen next with Michael Vey just like the first book did. That's why I read this book after reading the first book. If you like to read books with suspense and adventures, then this book is for you.
