This etwinning program will leave me the best impressions ever. It's environmental theme was very topical, and very well structured. I worked with wonderful collaborators and shared with them valuable experiences and wonderful material. My students and I learned important things about the importance of forest protection and what forest offers us. We took part in substantial and beautifully planned activities, such as activities in nature, acquaintance with the different species of trees, collaborative books, tree planting. The children's parents were very happy to participate in our activities and were thrilled with the new knowledge that their children acquired. It was a very interesting and creative collaboration. During our project, we germinated tree seeds and followed their growth and development with our students. We learned about tree species and parts of trees. At the same time, we did art activities in nature using wood products with our students. By learning about the numerous benefits of trees for us, we understood their importance. We have produced solutions to protect our forests. We created awareness on this issue with our posters on the environment and the videos we shot.
At the end of the project, we planned a sapling planting festival in order to enable our students to learn to plant saplings and to gain awareness on this issue. We are approaching the end of our project, which we will organize this festival simultaneously with our project partners from Europe and different cities of Turkey, with great effort, devotion and enthusiasm by our teachers and students. As a final product, we organized a sapling planting festival with approximately 170 students from 5 schools in Eskişehir and planted 500 pine saplings. Finally, our students brought the acorns they had grown themselves to the soil. It was a very useful and enjoyable project.

The e twinning programme «Forest starts from seeds in our hands» was one of the most enjoyable learning experiences for both myself and my young students. The theme of the programme was very attractive and interesting for me and my students, as through a variety of well organized and structured activities we enriched our knowledge and gained experiences about the nature, the importance of the forest for the ecosystem and many different species of trees, herbs and animals. The students learned a lot about forest protection and the responsible attitude they should follow as future citizens and volunteers by taking part in tree planting outside the school. The use of new technologies, digital tools and smart applications showed another way of the expressiveness and the creativity of children. They came in contact with children from other countries and cultures through technology and found out that an issue can be the subject of cooperation and development among many countries. The programme offered me and my students unique moments of collaboration, joy, inspiration and creativity. Many thanks to all the members of the programme for the excellent cooperation and participation in such an interesting initiative.
