I am really enjoying my time here, but unfortunately there is only one month left for me. I was born in Tanzania and moved to Holland at the age of 4. I come from a city in Zeeland called Goes and currently live in Breda. In february I will be doing an internship in Antwerp so I will be moving soon again. I will be working 4 days and 1 day I will be writing my thesis. The company where I will do my internship is called SD Worx and has experience with working with students and therefore I believe it is possible for me to write my thesis during my internship. Fan Factory is located in Ede (nearby Arnhem) and they focus on creating human capital within companies. In this proposition they use several tools like mystery guest visits. I mostly focus on Sales & marketing and for the bachelor thesis I will research the impact a mystery guest has in the learning cycle & the feedback in a company. I am doing a 10 month internship at Centerparcs and therefore I am living on De Kempervennen. I am on the Operational Support department where we assist all villages with all leisure activities. I will be writing my BT for this company and will evaluate rebrandings to advise for the upcoming ones within the organisation.

Currently, I follow a minor, Co-creating events and designing experiences at the Archimedesstraat. One week left and then I probably passed the minor. During my minor I discovered that eventing is not the sector I would like to do research in. Therefore, I decided to continue with entrepreneurship in the coffee industry instead of events.

My name is Lindy Bakx and I have just completed my minor on Resilient Entrepreneurship and I will continue this final phase at Albron BV.
I will be working at the department of HR, focussed on Hospitality and Leisure.

With my bachelor thesis, I want to dive into the topic of recruitment, focussed on leisure/hospitality. The exact challenge will be decided within the first days of my placement, so after I will recover from this stubbornly flu, I will dive into this course and join the scheduled meetings.

I think that writing a thesis will be the toughest challenge so far, at the NHTV, however, together we achieve more.

I am looking forward to all of the new experiences these upcoming months and hopefully graduating in the end.

I am very happy that Tesla give me this opportunity to do my internship here. My supervisor Remie is manager of workplaces in the EMEA and travelling a lot. My role is to set up several projects (facility related) and assisting the day-to-day operations of hard and soft services at the Tesla Warehouse and Tesla factory in Tilburg. Due to the fact that I have a lot of responsibilities and projects to set up, I am looking forward to start with the internship.

I am really excited to start my Bachelor Thesis in the form of a Business Plan. As I am now, for a total of 3 years, in the same job field as my dad, we are eager to start our own initiative: midiating freelancers in the Netherlands.

Besides this I am enrolled in the ARTRA course in order to receive my SEU/intermidiator (ABU-CAO) diploma this july. In September I would like to start with a Minor, of which the subject is yet unkown. I might either enroll in a Minor course at Breda University or Leiden University.

In September 2017 I started my Internship at Amgen and I will be finished end June 2018. Amgen is an American multinational biopharmaceutical company. At Amgen I am part of the Associate Corporate Affairs department. My role is to assist the team with their day-to-day tasks and several projects and events. I am really enjoying my internship here, as I am given much responsibility and plenty of projects to work.

For my Bachelor Thesis I will receive an assignment from Amgen’s Facilities department. I do not yet know what the assignment specifically will be, but I do know that it will be related to Amgen’s canteen area.
