There are many things I enjoy about my culture such as the language, people, and music. Spanish music is very important in my family, we always have something. Something I would like to change about the culture is the stereotypes. The newer generation of Hispanics is way different than the one ages ago. My mom lived in a very traditional Mexican household when she was younger and she's told me that things have changed from when she was a kid. For politics, Catholics are split between democrats and republicans, most white Catholics are conservative and Hispanics are liberal. My beliefs and values impact my life in so many ways, the way I think,see things, maybe even the way I say things is different. That is all impacted because of my culture.
