The novel is celebrated for its lyrical prose and emotional depth.

A commitment against slavery. She succeeds marvelously, notably through her characters and the content of her book. What's more, this book is really fascinating and really touched me, and also made me think about Man and how cruel he can be.

Raskolnikov’s internal conflict between his guilt and his justification for murder makes him such a complex and relatable character. Dostoevsky’s exploration of themes like morality, redemption, and the consequences of one’s choices feels timeless and incredibly profound. I also love how the novel blends suspense and philosophical depth, making it both an emotional and intellectual experience.

Beyond the characters, the setting of St. Petersburg plays such an important role as it mirrors the chaos and oppression in Raskolnikovs mind. The atmosphere is so vivid that you can almost feel the claustrophobia of his tiny room or the suffocating weight of the streets.

I like this book because it teaches important lessons about strategy and leadership. Machiavelli’s ideas are still relevant today and make us think about power and defence.
