(Gregory, 2025) Such detections may include heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and valve disease. Developed by Imperial College London in partnership with Eko Health, this smart device brings together heart sound and ECG recordings, which are analyzed by artificial intelligence to highlight abnormalities. It is being utilized in general practice clinics across the United Kingdom today and studies report that it has successfully aided in the diagnosis of heart failure in 9 out of 10 cases.
