The U.S installs Democracy to countries by placing a dictator in that country. There are many situations of a country being invaded by the U.S then placing a assigned ruler in charge of it and slapping on a label that quotes Darth Sidious saying "I love Democracy". The hypocrisy of the U.S from the government to the average American is unfathomably absurd. We blame impoverished countries like Iraq, Syria, Pakistan for the terrorist attacks, when we trained them and funded them. We also are scared of our neighbors for having guns but are afraid to give those up ourselves.

I'm not saying that including this choice of music was horrible, "when they were listing all of the U.S "crimes" in history", it was just shocking that they would use such a up beat song to get their point across. (what a beautiful world) because our world isn't so beautiful isn't.

I think what really jumped out at me from the documentary was when there was a man being interviewed and he said that he would sleep with a gun under his pillow every night. I found this to be super strange like I think most people would. The way he just explained it and said it made him feel safe, it sounded like he thought it was the most normal thing in the world. That dude was weird for it, and then he went a held the gun to his head. I think that the people of Columbine just were oblivious to the danger in having guns like that, they don't see all the possibilities that could happen with it being so accessible.

The head of the NRA (idk his name) is just so stupid. I was watching the last 20 minutes this morning and I just want to slap the stupidity out of him. I wonder what goes on in those types of people's brains. I think he still agrees with his decision on holding a rally which was way out of line. Just all so annoying to hear.

I think how they used satire in the documentary during the more morbid scenes, people messing around with guns and hurting themselves, people purposely turning guns on themselves or someone else, was a strange and morbidly funny moment. those images were disgusting but the song that was put over it was light and happy. it was just... weird in general

The part where he was interviewing Hesston was kinda funny, reminded me of those gun lovers who say having a gun is apart of their heritage and tradition. It wasn't surprising that he couldn't answer dude's questions even though he's a huge gun lover and stuff. What was kinda weird was when dude said he was part of his organization but then obviously was upset with him and his rallies that he held after gun violence incidents

The satire humor in this documentary made me not take it too seriously. I think this doc just made me realize how much of a hypocrite Americans can be. One part that really had me kinda dying was when the blind man was able hold and use a gun. Why was he actually not bad?!? It was kinda cool lol. One thing that also surprised me was when the guy opened up a bank and was able to get a free gun...Honestly I am disappointed at this country and I kinda want to move to Canada, heard good things about them.

I thought a really good point brought up in the documentary was the different influences kids have that can lead them to violent acts, specifically how the government could be an influence. Marilyn Manson pointed out that many people are so quick to blame people like him for the youth committing violent acts but fail to see how the government literally bombing countries on the daily could be a bad influence. No one stops to question whether or not the President may be a bad influence because he is the President.

I like how they incorporated satire into the documentary and it made it enjoyable for me to watch. Some documentaries are just too boring and I fall asleep 3 minutes into it. However, this one made fun of America, which is always an entertaining thing to do. I like the cartoon that resembled South Park and how it briefly went through America's violent and colonial history. I like how Marilyn Manson was blamed for the school shootings just because of the music that he makes. I also found it funny when Charlton Heston walks away. He couldn't take it anymore. He was pissed off. He was getting his gun probably and it was sad to watch.

I think the fact that it was a documentary but included satire kind of confused me at first, especially a doc. about something as serious as Columbine. But honestly, I think that made it better and it made me want to watch it, so I guess it worked.

I thought it was very interesting how the documentary pointed out that our gun violence doesn't mainly come from our own personalities or the violent propaganda we are fed, but rather just because of our accessibility to guns. It isn't just because of the things we watch or see in America but knowing that in certain places you can buy a gun with almost no credentials. The film-maker showed the various ridiculous ways that anyone could get a gun.
