My thoughts on taxes is concerning because the government uses our income tax to mainly spend it on the military $752 billion (47%) and $147 (9%) on Health and Medicare.

Taxes are important but we (civilians) pay way too much and that´s why tax returns exist. Most of the population says its unfair and it should be used on better stuff to benefit the economy.

I would be willing to pay extra taxes for food and agriculture because according to the Discretionary Spending board in 2021, out of $1.6 trillion, only $13 billion goes to ¨Food & Agriculture¨. Percentage wise = 1%

NYC should focus more on continuing to improve programs for people who are in need of basic needs like food. This also involves our health and nutrition. “When someone doesn’t have enough food or can only afford foods with low nutritional value, it could seriously impact their health.”
