- This can also introduce the local culture to the whole world. 
- Beach tourism in particular is important for the same reasons. It increases local revenue and provides jobs for those in the area. Beach tourism is also one of the income sources for the government and private individuals . Promoting beach tourism is one of the major attractions which a country could boast about
-It opens up a new niche market for tour operators to create customized itineraries, packages and day tours involving related activities near the beach areas.

Cons: Since Vung Tau has become a destination attracting many tourists from all over, that has brought Vung Tau many disadvantages besides the advantages.
- The most significant is environmental pollution, too many tourists coming to a place will cause environmental pollution, because the number of people is too large, people who lack awareness will litter indiscriminately. 
- Moreover, when restaurants and hotels are operating at full capacity due to a large number of guests, they will discharge garbage into the sea, leading to pollution of the marine environment.
