She is bullied by her own teacher at school one day because she forgot her lunch and so she has to pay for it and she doesnt have any money because shes poor and her teacher embarrases her for it, so she feels sad. An important thing scout says in the book "to kill a mocking bird" is "Boo was about six-and-a-half-feet tall, judging from his tracks; he dined on raw squirrels or anything he could catch, thats why his hands were bloodstained..."
