         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>- </strong>Hank Ballard - <em>"The Twist" </em>: A popular dancing song, which was popularized by its dance move. Originally by Hank Ballard but popularized by Chubby Checker.<br><br></div><div><strong>- </strong>Connie Francis - <em>"Where the Boys Are" </em>: A popular ballad song, which hit top charts. By popular musician of-the-day Connie Francis.<br><br><strong>- </strong>Elvis - <em>"It's now or never" </em>: When Elvis re-emerged from the armed forces, this song as well as <em>"Are You Lonesome Tonight?"</em> swooped the nation, because who doesn't like Elvis?<br><br><strong>-</strong> The Rolling Stones - <em>"(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction"&nbsp; </em>: A song that was very popular in the 1960's.<br><br><strong>-</strong> Beatles - <em>"I want to hold your hand"</em> : A popular song that coincided with their return. Who hasn't heard of the Beatles? <br><br>I think that only a portion of 60's music is worth a listen. Easy, gentle, exercise for your body.<strong><br><br>- </strong>Pole Lamps - Lamps that are fastened onto a pole, which protrudes from the ground and attaches to the ceiling.<strong><br><br>- </strong>1962 Washer-Dryer Combo - A combination of two reasonably priced household appliances, the clothes dryer, and the washing machine, bundled into one.<strong><br><br>- </strong>Five-Speed Blender - This blender can handle a much larger load compared to other low-power models. These muffins only need one egg!<strong><br><br>- </strong>Modhouse Punch (Retro Holiday Happy Hour) - This cocktail concoction takes 90 oz. of Sprite!<strong><br><br>- </strong>Phillie Cream Cheese Pumpkin Pie - A delicious treat for the halloween season which is approaching! This pie takes 1 1/4 cups of Pumpkin.<strong><br><br>- </strong>Cake Mix Pound Cake - An extremely dense chocolate cake that looks pleasing to the eye, and the tastebuds. They were often young, and the subculture as a whole originated among teenagers in the southern and northeastern United States. To get their hair to the greased-back state, they used a combination of hair wax, hair gel, creams, tonics, or pomade.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>- </strong>Corvairs - The 1960-1969 Chevrolet Corvair was "The last mass-produced car from General Motors", The Corvair was apparently quite costly for the market it was put into, and was eventually replaced by Chevy small cars.<br><br>&nbsp;<strong>- </strong>Mustangs - Some names for the Mustang during research were "Cougar", "Thunderbird II", and the "Torino". The Mustang was a very popular muscle car, and some of them are still alive today!          <description><![CDATA[<div>Technology has had some major improvements. Since the 1960's, we've gone from sawdust to a wall. We've gone from a spring, to a slinky. We've improved so much that it has people asking: "Where will we go now?". With today's electronics and technology, it's hard to imagine what it will be like 50 years from now. These drastic improvements have some people even asking for more. Teleportation? Manufacturing drones? Robots? What <em>will </em>we see?<br><br>Facts: <br>- Technology has changed, and has come a long way.<br>- Technology will continue to change and develop over the course of our lifetimes.<strong><br><br><br></strong><br></div>]]></description>
