He thought that the thing left to do was destroy the very little part of his dignity left. The people in Clybourne park were very racist. They believed that if any black family moved in, nobody would be happy with them around. They wanted the blacks to stay with people like themselves. There were many other injustices like Walter having their money stolen for example. People would do anything to help themselves.
