Sega is one of those companies who are friendly to fans. The other being Capcom who treats their fans good.

Nintendo VS SEGA

I choose SEGA over Nintendo because SEGA allows their fans to create fan games, in fact, they encouraged their fans to create fan games to keep their IP alive. Nintendo on the other hand, dislikes fan games cuz they are very protective over their IPs which upsets their fans. One of the consoles SEGA manufactured was the SEGA Genesis which was 16 bit and came out in 1989 while Nintendo's console the NES was 8 bit and that came out in 1985 until the SNES in 1990. As for handhelds, SEGA created the game gear in 1990 which had color in their games while Nintendo's first game boy that came out in 1989 and their games did not have color until their gameboy color came out in 1998.

Sonic has gained more popularity in Georgia. There was a speed cafe that was sonic themed that was opened up in Georgia. Most likely Sonic fans would be interested to go in the speed cafe. The marketing actions I would recommend for Sonic would be social media marketing so that everyone outside of Georgia can see the ads for the Sonic Speed Cafe.
