You can see that the sea is full of rubbish that people throw into the sea. All this rubbish costs the lives of fishes and other animals that live in the sea, because they can get caught in it and suffocate, or because they eat something they cannot tolerate.  One tenth of the garbage in the world's oceans consists of abandoned fishing gear that is either lost or deliberately dumped in the sea. This has a strong impact on the climate. The surfer, however, does not seem to mind that the sea where he surfs is polluted.

As they have difficulty adapting quickly enough to the constantly changing conditions caused by climate change.The melting of ice raises also the level of the sea, which can cause flood disasters.
The artist of the picture wants to show us, thats we humans not only harm ourselves and the environment by deforestation of the rainforest or the high CO2 emissions, but also deprive animals of their natural habitat and provoke their extinction.

In my opinion the picture refers to the old Greek legend of the king of the sea, Neptun, who is wearing a trident. Beyond that the aquaman looks like a modern-time hero who if figthing against his enemies.

Aquaman - the king of the sea - fights against the enemy of the aquaworld: plastic stuff of modern society.

As far as I am concerned the picture has a great impact of the viewer. It shows the vulnerability of the sea.

Maybe this farm is in China or Asia. I don't think that this picture shows a European situation, because the clothing of the farmer and the equipment in his hands does not look very European.
In the background of the picture I see a factory emiting pollutants. The air is smoky. To my mind the farmer has difficulties to breath in this smoke, that's why he es wearing a scarf around his head.

The picture refers to the enviroment pollution in Asia. Especially China is known as a nation where air pollution is dangerous and a real problem.

The picture makes me sad because I feel sorrow for the poor people who are not able to breath free.

I really appreciate ice bears. Therefore this picture makes me think about the problematic situation of the polar ice. I am very sad and upset that the population of ice bears is in danger.

Looking at the picture I see a typical wind surfing situation. The surfe is in the middle of the water, and a big wafe is increasing behind him. So at first glance you see a typical holiday-situation. But looking nearer you see the waste and the rubbish. This should make the viewer reflect on the situation of nature.

In my mind the picture is too much. I don't think that this picture shows the right sujet to make people really reflect on the problematic situation of waste in the sea.

Smog in cities is a real big problem because smog is very dangerous for people and animals. Smog comes from air pollution for instance from emissions of coal heatings.

As far as I am concerned this picture shows at first glance the problematic environmental pollution by heating or traffic.

Flood as well as aridity is a consequence of climate change. And climate change effects everyone worldwide.

The picture shows a beautiful area which is destroyd by a flood. It shows live and future (children's cloths on the washing line) and destruction. Climate change is dangerous!

I think the photo refers to the ocean pollution which is increasing every day.  There are neither plants nor animals around Aquaman, which could also indicate that more and more animals are dying out due the ocean pollution. 
The man in the photo (Aquaman) holds a trident in his hand and looks very combative, which could perhaps show that he is trying to fight the pollution.
In my opinion the picture shows people how much plastic is floating in the ocean and that it’s a big problem. Many people only see the good side of the sea (for example at beautiful beaches) and think that the oceanpollution is exaggerated.

 The photo suggests global warming, which is why the ice at the poles is starting to melt.  Global warming is destroying the polar bears' habitat and they are threatened with extinction. 

I think the photo is good to draw people's attention to global warming, and I also think it's good that the polar bear was shown on the ice float, as it often makes people feel sorry for the animals.

On the second photo you can see a kangaroo standing in a burning environment.  There is smoke and fire everywhere and you can see that a building is burning.  

The photos are used to point out the Australian forest fires that take place annually (sometimes several times a year).  The fires in Australia often spread over the entire rainforest, which is the habitat of many animals and plantage.  Many animals die from forest fires, and humans can also be harmed. 

 The reasons for the forest fires are mostly the climatic warming (severe drought) in connection with heat-thunderstorms.
