  • Their clothing just depends on where they live, too. The Cherokee Indians wore animal skins, leather, and feathers.

  • They hunted for turkeys, deer, and other animals that they eat. They did have farms land to farm.

May 6, 1828 the Treaty of Washington addressed members of the indian tribes 7 million acres of land. On May 28th, 1830 the Indian Removal Act was set and any time that the indians resettles will be provided by the government. In 1838 the Trails of Tear began. The U.S. army rounded up as many indians they could and traveled 800 miles from the Mississippi plains to Oklahoma. In 1851 the Indian Appropriations Act was made.
