         <description><![CDATA[<div>2/Documentary by PBS a website, <em>Black panthers<br>https://www.pbs.org/video/independent-lens-free-breakfast-program/<br>"This excerpt from the Independent Lens documentary Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution reveals a less heralded side of the Black Panther Party. After reading studies on how children who didn't get breakfast fared poorly in school, the Panthers started a breakfast program that served 20,000 meals a week to black schoolchildren in 19 different communities."<br>It explains the "free breakfast for school children program". </em>It took place in 1969 thanks to the Black panthers party. It was a Black people movement which fight for their civil rights.<br>The USA's government was toughly against these movements. They were reprimanded by the police. Despite of the repression, they continued to help Black people who need it. </div>]]></description>

The African men were here as slaves with the crew. <br>The sailor depicted the African men as wild animals who not share the same DNA.<br>This vision is be a part of several literary arts who spread a vision of Africans seen as a cheap labor and incapables. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>3/<em>The Buddha of Suburbia</em> by Hanif Kureishi in 1990<br><em>The attack on Changez angered me [...]We couldn't stop it: we could only March and make our voices heard.(p 225) </em><br>Jamila calls Karim to tell him that Changez had been attacked by a group of National Front members who thought he was Pakistani.<br>When Jamila says that the police didn't believe Changez's account, it shows that the systems of power that dehumanize non-white.<br>The protagonist is engaged to break the racist system of his era. There are few people engaged throughout the world who support minorities. Nowadays, the Black Lives Matter's movement might illustrate that. </div>]]></description>

Indeed, European Empire such as the British Empire invaded few territories into Africa. So, only European's vision could be spread through literature for instance. The Europeans though they were superior to the Black people because those people were just cheap labor for them. Thanks to this extract of Heart of Darkness written by Conrad. The depictions of this minority was highly pejorative. Other minorities were represented as people who were willingly submitted to the British Empire.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>II/ A tough claiming of Black people&#39;s civil rights </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> These misconceptions pervades people's mind so minorities had to faced up to racial discriminations. However, thanks to famous fight for Civil's Rights while the 1950's decades, minorities gained empowerment. Throughout the XX century, some movements which defended equality were founded. The Black Panthers Party was one of them. They lead manifestations or social action such as the free breakfast for young students. Schools segregation in the USA ended in 1954 thanks to the Brown versus Board of Education. Everybody were engaged to fight for equality even artists. Basquiat was angered toward police violence. In consequence, he painted an autoportrait which denounces all violence that Black people suffered and makes some echo between the 1990's decades and the colonization's Era. </div>]]></description>

Currently, the Black Lives Matter's movement was created because of a Black man who was killed by a policeman in the USA. This unfortunately event was common. Nevertheless, people don't be scared to defend their Civil's Rights threatened by White supremacists. Indeed,in the Buddha of Suburbia writtenby Kureishi,the protagonist and some characters participated to a march for one of their friend who was hit by a group of White supremacists in London.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

A mere postcard of colonization's Era explain how the mentalies were, Europeans thought them as superior than people who were submitted to them. The 1900 century is a Era filling of information because artists revolutioned their work. They came to the realization that their artworks could be a media of fight for defend their Rights. Nowadays, the art is always a media to communicate to worldwide minorities' fights.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
