They first hammer  was created in the stone age and it used to be made by a stone tred on a stick due to the use they had in the stone age as tools. Unlike the discoverment of copper, the head of the hammer was. Changed from stone to copper. These used to be heavier than the ones used in the stone age because they were made of copper. The first hammers with holes were used to be made with a hole in the handle so it could be more resistant and these used to be fabricated with heary metal unlike in the Roman era the hammer was made with a wooded handle and the hole was placed in the head. The  nail hammer is used recently unlike the old hammers these could with a soft handle, it's made by metal and  the nail works for nail extraction for the extraction of nails and is used in construction.
