If I could go back to the first day I would spend more time figuring out how to speed up the COVID testing.  We have a system now, however, we took way too much time at the beginning of the year and not enough time in classes.  WE have focused a lot of time on safety.  Now that we are transitioning back to less desk partitions and allowing group work, we are seeing not as much collaborative work and more teacher directed instruction compared to previous years.

What I'm most nervous about is nothing really. It's so satisfying when they connect with the content and it makes a real impact on them. For example we started the Great Depression last week, and several students commented on how sad it made them just based on the severe impact the drastic economic downturn had on so many families.
