First her real parents either died or decided not to keep her so they put her up for adoption and now to make matters worse, the parents who adopted her may be DEAD. 
The top thing that bothers me with this book is the fact that the moment she realized that a accident had occurred she flashed back to the time that she was adopted. It allowed me to imagine how people really looked without physically seeing them and how they acted without actually knowing them. I'm glad that Willow's family dosent have to worry about her mother and her mother dosent have to go though that pain but I'm sad that once again Willow doesn't have a real family.
