How they had this whole life without me, how I actually almost started to feel like an older sister, and how my dad was gonna grow old without me. How his kids were gonna grow old without me. How, I didn't even miss him when I was home because I was already used to barely seeing him and how terrible I felt for not feeling terrible. His place in Oregon was never my home, but maybe one day his place in North Carolina will be my home.
