         <description><![CDATA[<div>International mindedness is a mindset, where one has respect and acceptance for all the cultures of the world. International mindedness is accepting people's differences and looking at them as an opportunity rather than a threat. International mindedness is seeing oneself as a part of bigger community i.e. global community. Despite of differences in culture, language, colour, we belong to one race i.e. Human race. International mindedness is sharing the similarities and celebrating the diversity amongst human race.  </div>]]></description>

Understanding ourselves as a part of global community, helps us see that the whole world is connected,  and what we do today would affect people in the other parts of the world. As a global citizen, we should all consider the problem like hunger, poverty, health , education as global problems and must play our roles to combat them.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Schools today can prepare students to become a global citizens by developing skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity for all the subject areas.  Students should be prepared to work in diverse teams and accept other opinions and should be ready to take unfamiliar challenges. As an educator, we  must plan our lessons to include elements of  research, so students can extend their learning beyond the four walls of the classroom. With all these skill students will be able to cope with the challenges of 21st century and will become a true global citizen.</div>]]></description>

Moreover taxonomy, binomial nomenclature and Metric system are few examples of scientists from different cultures using one language when it comes to Biology.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In today's world connectivity has done wonders, my classroom is no different.  My students have done research projects where they have researched their own geographic region with to study the  ecosystem. My students and I also have been part of global collaborative projects, where students have shared learning with global collaboratives using skype in the classroom.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
