I learned how to improve my shading. I was able to accurately recreate shadows during the still life project.

I learned what still life is, and how to draw a still life drawing in pencil. The object I brought in was a tennis ball because that is my favorite sport. My planning focused mainly on shading and included the shading around the edges of my object, along with the additional objects around it.

I've learned a lot about shading and attention to detail. The class is going well so far, and I've really enjoyed the days I've spent in it so far. Here's to a great rest of the year! : )
