2020 and My Expectations From 2021

I believe 2020 was rather an unpleasant year. We spent most of the year trapped inside our homes to protect ourselves and our families while being scared of getting sick. I like being at home a lot nevertheless after a while, it got way too boring. To be honest we didn't even had that much time to be bored because we were busy most of the time studying for the LGS. As for my expectations from 2021, I am hoping that the illness will be cured soon, and we will return to our ordinary lives soon as well. After that, I am hoping that we won't have another pandemic or anything else like this for a long time.

What happened in 2020?
I think 2020 was the one of the worst years for me. Lots of bad things happened in this year like Coronavirus, Kobe Bryant’s and his daughter’s death, the big fire in Austraila, earthquakes in Turkey and things like this.
Because of Coronavirus schools, restaurants, cafes and a lot of shops closed. People lost their jobs. And the worst thing is lots of people died.
In Australia Fire many animals lost their lives.

What are my expectations?
I hope Coronavirus ends and we’ll back to our normal life. I know it will be never safe as our previously lives -i mean about health problem- but if it ends, if vaccine works, if they found the cure we will be more comfortable. So end of the Coronavirus is my first expectation and the most thing i want.
My opinion about Fire in Australia is people should be more careful. We shouldn’t pollute environment and we must take more precautions. In earthquakes in Turkey it is same we should take more precautions. We always must be ready in this situations and things like this.

I hope everyone will be healthy, happy and relax…

My Experiences from 2020

2020 has been tiring in every way possible. A lot of things have happened in all over the World. We have been in a lockdown for almost a year now. Most of the people dont seem to like it, but I personally liked being home most of the time. I had the chance to try out some home activities that I never had the chance to do. Me and my friends watched movies online, played games, sometimes hung out in real life. So I don’t think that the lockdown was terrible, unlike how most of the people think. The pandemic is gonna continue in 2021, but I don’t really mind it. Hopefully 2021 is gonna go better than 2020. Because atleast people know how they should act in a pandemic.

2021 EXPECTATIONS
2020 was a very difficult year for everyone. First, natural disasters such as fires, earthquakes and then the coronavirus epidemic that affected the whole world began. During the pandemic, everyone isolated themselves at home and made many sacrifices for themselves and their loved ones. Despite this, lots of people became infected and unfortunately, they lost their lives. Schools were closed long time so, education continued online and many working people also worked at home. It's hard to get used to all this, but for our health, we stayed at home and created our own quarantine.
Now, we are leaving behind 2020, which has been difficult in many ways and I am very hopeful for 2021. First of all, I wish that the coronavirus pandemic affecting all humanity in 2021, will end as a result of vaccines and measures taken. I hope this will be a fair, peaceful and healthy year for all people.
With the end of the pandemic in 2021, I want to go out freely and see new places. I'm very excited to get to know the cultures of other cities, maybe other countries. I'm going to go improve the guitar playing I learned a little bit last year in new year. I also really want to learn to play the piano this year, which I've wanted to learn for a long time. Improving my English and reading many books are also among my 2021 goals.
Beside all this, my biggest dream is to help children who are sick and need help. I'm really going to do everything I can this year to make that happen.
I hope 2021 will bring health, peace and happines to all people and I wish, everyone will make their dreams come to life.

It can’t be said that 2020 was a good year for the world. A lot of things have happened all over the
world: threats of war, flood disaster in Indonesia, avalanche disaster in Van, fire in Australia and Hatay, earthquake in Elazig and Izmir, falling planes, protests as a result of racims, global pandemic...
Especially the pandemic affected the whole world a lot. Everyone is locked in their homes. We
couldn’t go out without mask. Most countries’ economies have gone bad. No country’s health system
was sufficient for this pandemic. Many people die every day from this disease. But on the bright side,
people started to devote more time to themselves. They started to improve themselves at home and
found time to do things they couldn’t have had time to do before: they watch the series, movies they
wanted to watch, read the books they wanted to read, they did sports, they spent more time with
their families. Of course, this situation also caused some changes in education. Tried to replace face-face education with online education. Of course although this education isn’t as succesful as face-face education, at least the loss of the students is minimized. The hardest times during the period were when we were afraid of entering the house when we should have stayed home. But in these difficult times we knew how to unite and tried to do our best to everyone in need. Some people
attribute these events to the bad luck of the year as if everything will be all right ince the year is over.
But unfortunately we don’t have Alaaddin’s magic lamp or a magic wand. Maybe everything will not
improve but we wish 2021 to bring health, happiness and peace to everyone :)

First of all, even tough 2020 is a difficult year,I think there are many good and bad sides . Although we are very sad about this year’s wars, earthquakes,fires,violence and global pandemic,and although we stay away from school and our habits this year we have spent more time on ourselves,our hobbies and our family than ever before and have developed personally. The Year of Misfortune
2020 was the year we met with CoVID-19 where it assumed to have appeared in a meat bazaar located in Wuhan, China. This Virus brought a lot of speculation along herewith. In the beginning, only Chinese people have to tackle the new type of coronavirus and the WHO(World health organization) took into consideration too late and after months entitled as a pandemic. It has to radically change our life. For many months scientists argue about the root of the virus but they couldn't come to a consensus.

The virus started to spread in china overspread all around the world. It alarmed Europe due to the nature of the virus which spread rapidly and it gives rise to serious losses. In fact, in Italy, taking precautions that were severe enough to bring the army to the street. Couple with the pandemic The World banks` health data and WHOs` credibility started to be argued.

Covid-19 was the second recent virus that has a huge impact on the history of mankind. The influenza pandemic of 1918–19, lasted between one and two years. It is also known as Spanish flu since it first started in Spain after WW2. It was the most severe pandemic in recent history. It was caused by an H1N1 virus with genes of avian origin. 2020 also became the year of disasters. To set an example,

What 2020 thought us,

· We learned to appreciate the selfless dedication of nurses, orderlies, doctors, and other health workers who risked their lives to save ours — and the selfless dedication of truck drivers, grocery stockers, farmworkers and so many more who risked their lives to keep the economy from collapsing.

· One of the most horrifying acts of police brutality ever caught on video — the killing of George Floyd — led to an outpouring of protest and reflection and, in many countries and states, the beginning of reform against racism.

MY 2020 YEAR AND MY EXPECTATIONS FROM 2021

My 2020 year was not that bad. Actually I can say it was a good year for me, except coronavirus, earthquakes. My whole life I’ve always wanted online school, because I’m not a fan of going school or going out. On the other hand coronavirus part was so bad for us. We all have been staying in our houses for months. Some of us are good with that and some of us are not. This year even if we try to be careful some of the persons didn’t care about the coronavirus at all, and unfortunately I witnessed these situations. I think that’s why this virus spread this much. Not only coronavirus we have been through so much things for example earthquakes, fires etc.

My expectations from 2021 are not that much. Some of the people say that coronavirus is going to end in 2021 but I don’t really believe that. Unlike even if coronavirus ends in 2021, I don’t want online school to be end. Apart from these I have tiny expectations from 2021 which is not that important but I hope they will come true or I can do them. Summary of everything I wish in 2021 coronavirus will end but online school won’t. But most importantly I hope 2021 will not bring us new disasters and I hope 2020 was not just a trailer.

2020 has been a year to remember with Covid-19 throughout human history. When the disease turning into a pandemic, the whole world had to close itself. During this process, we had to stay at our homes like everyone around the world. Since there is no face-to-face education in schools, i continued my lessons as online at my home. I liked this situation at first, but as the process got longer, i got bored. I even had to prepare for the LGS at home and i stayed away from my friends. IS IT SO MUCH FOR A YEAR?
There are a lot of things happend in 2020. And most of us had a really hard year maybe some of us had their thoughest year in their whole life. We basically know what happend all around the world and nearly all of them are really bad so I am not going to mention those bad things over and over. In the conculusion all of us tired both mentally and physically. But If I try to be optimistic, actually this year thought eveyone a lot of things too. We learned that life is to short to sit and wait for it and we need to take contol of it beacuse we have to live a life that we will remember. Also we learned that none of us different from the other one. When nobody can do anything about the virus and pandemic we know our colour, our language, gender or race can't help to escape from this virus beacuse all of us know that we are under the same circumstances we know it has nothing to do with those things so we learn we are the same and that is a nice thing to know. Also we understand better, the meaning of the things that we have. They say that when you lose something, you realise how much you love it. I guess that is sad but true. I hope in the future that we never had a year like this to understand the meaning of things that we got.

If we talk about my expectations from the year of 2021 I don't expect to much actually beacuse of the 2020 diseaster but I have some plans about myself. Last year I wanted to open a painting exhabition but I couldn't beacuse of the pandemic so I want to open it this year also I want so bad to improve my English skills and I want to continue learning German. I hope that I can improve myself in so many ways. We didn’t predict this year ,we had a good expectations. But unfortunately this year have a differents between the other years. There were a lots of incident in this year. Earthquake,fire ext. . But the Covid 19 is the worst thing in this year. We stayed home for 8-9 months. And then school closed too. So we should listen our lesson in home we should study our lesson in home .There were be also high school exam so I have to study hard. We didn’t go outside and we didn’t hang out with our friends. We were depressed. When Covid 19 patient number increased day by day, restrictions came ; restaurants,cinema ext. closed. We should stay home until the end of the year. How bad was "2020", right? Virus, Fire, Flood, Events in America, Earthquakes ... So why am I writing this here? First off, I will never blame a 4-digit number here.
Because such events have happened many times in history. For example; Black plague has become much more effective and even more deadly than the coronavirus, and as if that wasn't enough There was no current technology. Who is really responsible for these events? "People". Of course not all but the vast majority are guilty. Of course, there will be those who oppose this view. So I ask you, why do people blame foreign states without evidence? Why is it so deadly like the plague
While not, they believe this virus to be a true virus (non-man-made). The problem isn't just with the virus. Why do they attribute earthquakes to irreligion?
As if it never happened before. Well, were those who died in the earthquake irreligious? Was the black plague and Spanish flu man-made?
The most superior feature of man in nature is thinking, but he cannot use it either.
Let's compare it like this:

Corona virus:
China = country where the epidemic occurred. In a short time, they reduced the daily covid cases in their own countries to almost 0 and returned to normal order. They also produced a vaccine.
Turkey = cases were not seen for a long time. So what happened after the Covid case came out? The virus progressed rapidly. Then suddenly the number of cases started to decrease, the bans were completely lifted.
When I say that the cases are decreasing, they publish the number of patients, not cases. After revealing the actual number of cases, they started to act again.
There are currently 2 million cases in total. Turkey ranks 7th in the world in total number of cases.
If we look at the earthquake data, although there were earthquakes larger than the earthquake in Izmir, more people died in the earthquake in Izmir.
These are just 2 examples. Now I'm asking you is 2020 really responsible for these bad things? Or are we humanity and ignorance?

Anyway, let's take a good look at it, right? These events helped us, right? Of course it helped, but most people did not understand this and will not understand

2020 was a rough year. We had to stay in our homes and try to do everything online while some people sadly did not want to. Educating using the internet was unusual too, while some countries and schools were successful because they had the necessary infrastructure some were not as successful. The idea of staying at home and schools being closed sounds fun but that idea also did not last that long. People lost their sanity, lives, jobs and hopes. Meanwhile doctors were trying to do the best they can, the pandemic was not the only bad thing happening there was lots of other natural disasters, protests and all kinds of worrying things.
But maybe 2021 will be better since vaccines are slowly becoming more common, of course it will not disappear instantly, and people may start to be too overconfident and go out only to cause the cases to rise again, but eventually we will hopefully beat the pandemic.

Maybe another pandemic comes years later and When that happens, I hope they look to the past and do not make the mistakes that we did.

2020 started with a terrible bushfire in australia. Then the Covid-19 was born in wuhan. after that the Covid-19 pandemic that infected almost 85 milion people and killed nearly 2 milion people. Ecenomies around the world collapsed because pandemic. Many people lost their jobs and stayed at home to protect themselves and 2020 is the hottest year of all time But some good things happened in 2020 too.

My expectations from 2021

I hoping 2021 will beter year than 2020. I hoping 2021 will last year of pandemic and never happen this again a long time. I hoping 2021 is more peaceful than 2021.

2020… This year was simply awful. For example: Lots of death happened, corona virus hitted us, we struggled with earthquakes fires and LGS exam… I hope 2021 will be better. When every new year comes to my side I have few requests from God. Here is my requests list; Health,peace little bit of a love good grades from my exams and plenty of money to spend happily 😊 Also I wish Gaziantep FC to be a champion this year in lig ~Celal Hüseyin Babat
