Usually, after a class, I would take a break or get distracted and get off track from homework. I kept on doing my assignments last minute and I would procrastinate. My time management skills were not that great but now I start paying attention more and working hard to finish all my assignments so after I complete everything I can be able to move onto my other activities.

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because I started working hard and it paid off. I felt like I could not do it and I wanted to give up because I couldn't serve the ball properly. Then I realized that I have to work harder to achieve the goal I want to pursue the sport of volleyball. So I started working harder and staying late at practices and now I am a lot better since the first practice and I can serve a lot better.  

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme since I started working harder to pursue my goal to be a volleyball player and now I am very much improved. It all paid off because now I know many different ways to serve the ball and with that, I get a lot more opportunities.

I used to always watch the television or mess around while cleaning the upstairs rooms and it would take really long but since now I finish all my chores, I finish faster and it pays off because I can help my parents with other things or I can sit down and watch some TV as a reward or just as a break. 

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because when I finish all the things I need to I can sit down and take a break.
