         <title>In order to make Victoria the ‘education state’, where each person has an equal opportunity to access excellent education, regardless of their background, location, or personal circumstances, the unique choices of students regarding their knowledge and their diverse perspectives on learning, teaching and schooling much be taken into account. Ensuring students are able to access social justice not only enables them to productively engage and participate in learning, but it also contributes to developing key skills in leadership, confidence and other areas that ensure student wellbeing.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>VicSRC suggests that several strategies can be used in order to manifest justice based on student voices. Examples include, but are not limited to, the following representative strategies:&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>1. Provide students with a platform to engage with, as partners, based on how their learning has progressed. This can be done through involvement in decision-making and feedback, in addition to feedback collection that is carried out over a variety of time periods.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>2. Develop leadership teams in schools, which will strengthen students’ ability to plan and organize. A sense of community is also a core element of social justice theory, particularly in regards to providing equal opportunities for all voices to be heard.<br><br></div><div>3. Engage students by incorporating their suggestions into curriculum plans and assessment adjustments, minimizing hierarchy in order to achieve the most effective way of learning.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
