Lives right up the street,
Once you get to know them,
They are quite sweet.

The mother is Gretchen
You'd think she'd be scary.
She looks like a polka dot turnip
That's hairy.

Gretchen's boy is Flippo,
He's chunky and sweet.
With wiry, fiery toes on his feet.
He loves to build go-carts
And he wins the races.

Gretchen's little girl,Portia
Is skinny and tall.
She's the champ among monsters
Who play monsterball.

For dinner,
Gretchen whips up a winner
It's tentacle soda and barnacle stew.
They slurp tinfoil milkshakes
And chimney soot pie.

Later, at midnight,
They lie under their bark blanket
And they count fat,noisy crickets
