Something that stood out to me is - small successes and followed up praise/ affirmation. 

I think the question is with the understanding of SEN, how can I be intentional about creating these experiences and scaffolding the opportunities (because small successes don't often just occur by happenstance). And be ready to recognise these when it happens.

But school is not just in one classroom by anyone teacher, thus there must be a consistent approach by every teacher and all parties, include Student management, School counselors, school as a whole and parents.
