In my opinion, there could be other activities that also help to raise funds. For example, a bake sale would be a good idea because many people like to buy cakes and cookies, and it is not difficult to prepare them. Another activity could be a fun run where participants pay a small fee to join. This would be enjoyable and healthy at the same time. A raffle or lucky draw could also raise a lot of money because people get excited to win prizes, and more people may join the event.

I feel that this event is a wonderful way for students to help the community. It makes me happy to know that children can play a part in bringing joy to others.

Why? Because I never had the chance or experience to go to a fund-raising activity so I would love to go.

The craft activity is interesting because students can use their creativity to make things like cards, keychains, or small gifts. These items can be sold to raise money for charity. It also helps students learn how to work together and plan what to make.

Asking for donations on Flag Day is also helpful. Students can go to different places with their donation bags and ask people to give money for a good cause. These activities are meaningful because they help raise money for poor families, teach students to care for others, and bring everyone together to do something good. Kindness Week is not just about giving money — it is about giving time, effort, and love to make the world a better place.

I think most children would enjoy watching a funny play. It can make them laugh and have a good time. Also, if the play has a good message, they can learn something too. Children like stories with interesting characters and silly actions, so a comedy play would be fun for everyone.

i think i will be an awesome guitarist and i would play songs that are popular among children so they can relate to them

I would love to support this event as it is a meaningful activity because i think kindness is very important! For example: 1. make crafts for sell: the crafts i make could be sold to raise funds for the for the needy family in the community. Since I rarely attend these type of events i definetly love to go!

If I had a chance to perform in a show I would not go as I have stage fright. I also think the show children would like is magic shows that are suitable for their age.

Absolutely! I would support this interesting event as we can help other families in need raise funds. Also, making crafts and putting it for sale is really creative as we can use recycled materials to make creative stuff. I would love to see the children perform in the charity concert as I am very interested into seeing them perform! It might be really cool, amazing, wonderful and more! I usually do not attend any events but, for this kind of events, I will attend it during my free time like holidays!

I have never taken part in any fund-raising activities before, but I would really love to take part in any fund-raising activities as it seems very interesting and I would like to know how the people get others to be interested into donating. Plus, I would love to help in those kinds of activities for people in need. It is also very important that all families live a good life. And kindness is really important too, so I am willingly am able to help out for free! So, if I could ever go to any fund-raising activities, I would accept it immediately and go during my free time! :)

If I was given the chance to perform in a concert, I probably would perform some magic and drama as children like them in my opinion. I think children like magic because it's basically like disappearing objects and the children might get really amazed by it. I also think that children like drama, it depends on what I am performing. The reason why I think that is drama can express emotions, different perspectives, and build confidence as they see me perform it on stage. Some children may like it or not but they can learn by looking at other people acting. The kind of drama I would perform is like fairy tales, funny stuff. Then, the type of magic I would do is to like make a rabbit come out of the hat ( I don't know how to do, it is an example).

In my opinion writing a motivational note or video will help raise funds as it tells us to never give up even through the hardest times.It also motivates anyone to work hard for your goals and dreams no matter what.

Actually, no, I have not taken part in any fund-raising activities before, but I would really love to try! I think it would be quite exciting to be part of something that helps other people in need. I would especially like to join a charity concert because I enjoy singing and it seems like such a fun way to raise money. I imagine I would feel a bit nervous at first, but also very proud knowing that I'm doing something good for families who need help. I've seen fund-raising events on television before, like when celebrities sing together to raise money for disasters, and it always looks amazing how everyone comes together. I think participating in fund-raising would teach me how important it is to care for others in our community, and it would make me feel really good inside knowing I helped make someone's life better.

The reason is because they might have a disability or probably a medical condition and giving them toys they have never had before will make them happy!

And other than that, I would love to see what other activities there are happening in the Kindness Week Activities in Crest Primary School! It would be so fun there!

i personally think that those `play to donate` activity things would work, because not only the people who are playing would have fun they would also be helping the needy families.

A team of volunteers and I, together with my mother, help to pack and divide the donated ration accordingly. We then transport with a trolly and send them to the house hold. I knock on the doors and have a chat with the uncles and aunties.

This makes our performance more meaningful and inclusive

In my opinion one way that I can support is by setting up a booth sales to sell toys ,clothes ,books and shoes. By doing that I can raise funds for them.

No i have not attended any fundraising activities before, I have seen some people around the area of Yishun trying to sell their tissue papers or anything that is sellable. And yes I would love to attend fundraising activities if I can!

Yes I would definitely like to support this Kindness Week event , I think it is very important to help families that are in need in our community because some children may not have enough money to afford food or school supplies. When I don't help people in need, it makes me feel bad for them so I want to help people in need. I like the idea of making crafts for sale, because it sounds fun and exciting and it can attract kids as some kids like crafts, plus we can earn money and donate it to families in need.

Actually, no , I have not taken part in any fund - raising activities before and I do not wish to take part in fund-raising activities. It is because I have to study for my upcoming examinations , even if I do not have upcoming examination I think its a bit of a waste of time because there are other things I can do to help families in need such as donating to charities and a lot more that I can't even think of.

If I were given a chance to preform on stage i would preform a stand-up-comedy, it is because i think making people laugh is good thing because i can social interact with more unknown people making me confident to stand on stage and preform.

These are the other activities that could help raise funds:

• Donations of money on Flag Day

• Perform more things in the charity concert so that more people can see and be attracted to see it.

• Place booths around the area and sell toys that we no longer want. We can also sell clothes when we no longer wear them, and we can give them to other young children who do not have many shirts and pants.

• Make a carnival in the school; Games, hand painting and a small bumpy car ride in the carnival! These car ride tickets will be given by the form teacher. Each student has two tickets for this car ride.

• They can also sell books and shoes for the children who don't have.

• They can also have art activities during the carnival @ crest Primary School!

• Before the children start painting, they want to paint. They must choose the picture they like from what we displayed, and then they must trace it on the paper, and then into the frame clearly.

• They will also have a painting photograph.

• They can draw simple things they want to draw and paint; they do not need much effort to do this activity, but just have fun through these activities.

• And last but not least, they have cards given by the parents or teacher, er and it is an autograph.

• They must find 5 people to sign and write kind words on the card

• After the children have done thesethingss they will pass it to their parents to give to their oldest one, like grandpa and grandma, to read and keep the card.

When I went there, there were so many people in the activity booths

Here are some of the activities in the carnival:

• Design posters, have three donation boxes in the booth for the residents who came for the carnival to put as much money as they want to put.

• They also came to taste some delicious food, as some people may live or be close to here, and take the effort to join this carnival for this donation fundraising event.

• They have booths like a crossword puzzle about how to help the elderly when they are in public.

• They also have food booths, examples as popcorn and ice cream, to eat during the carnival.

• I felt very happy because I could help who are those who are poor no money, and need help.

• I felt sad because maybe there are still a lot of people who do not have these donations and are not being helped by other people.

  In a nutshell, I feel that we should help people when they are in need. Some of the time, people would not need help, and some of the time, they needed help from you.

  But we must know if the person really needs help or not. If the person does not need help, we do not force them to let us help them; maybe they can handle themselves on their own.
