This link describes why problem base learning is a valuable in history classes. It gives students to work together on a plan to solves a problem that we faced in our history. The reason it is so broad is because there is a vast amount technology that can be used to enhance learning. It is important because learning skills within these technology is essential for our students futures. It is also important because it is an engaging way for students to learning the content. There are few projects that I plan on using in my classroom. One, is that students will create a website to share with the class the structure and functions of their mock government systems. I also plan to have students create short animated videos to teach certain topics that they will research. These will be made available to the entire class and be a chance for students to learn from their peers. This link is to and article explain the benefits of technology enhanced learning.

This video describes historical thinking. Historical thinking is a way students can use inquiry based learning to analyze material that they are researching. I provides them with context towards the material they are studying. It hopefully provides them with a chance to look and multiple perspective on the content as well. The linked article talks about jigsaw classroom and how beneficial they can be for the social development of students. This type of learning can be used in classes frequently. It provides students with a chance to teach content to their peers. I plan to used this is my government and citizenship class as we talk about the different levels of our judicial system. Each group will research a level and then they will breakoff and teacher it to their peers in the method explained in the article.
