Otto Frank is the only one who survives, and everyone else dies. Hermann van Pels gets murdered in the gas chambers, and Auguste is thrown in front of a train during a transport, and the rest die of starvation and exhaustion.<br><br><strong>I had this on my padlet as well. - Aidan H.</strong></div>]]></description>

The events that caused the raid are unknown, but many people suggest their was betrayal.  The investigations show no knowledge of whether there was betrayal, but the investigations done by the Anne Frank House show their may be other options than betrayal.</div>]]></description>
