Appeal to authority often relates to celebrities, authors, athletes, etc.
Connection: The most relatable example for me would simply be Air Jordan's. Connection: From the beginning of time, we as humans have celebrated many different things, and one of the most popular traditions being Christmas. Which is the birth of Christ however, many children know it as Santa Claus. The story is magical for young children, almost to good to be true. The question being often asked; "Do you Believe?", "Is Santa Real?". The story being to complicated to give a real answer to the children, it becomes an innocent misleading tale.

Connection: The Flat Earth Theory is one of the most popular examples of Ancient Wisdom. Individuals hundreds of years ago truly believed that the Earth wasn't a sphere, instead they believed the Earth was flat, surrounded by some sort of 'Ice Wall/Crust"

However, people will say this album is amazing because they only focus on the good songs, not the bad ones.

Simplicity is often confused as the easy way out however many great scientists explain that in everyday life the most simple answer is usually the right answer. As shown in "Rationality, Belief and Commitment" written by Richard Foley Simplicity often fights with reasoning with evidence to create the perfect middle ground.
Connection: Math is the perfect example of simplicity.
