         <description><![CDATA[<div>Rolfes reflective model is based upon 3 simple questions; what, so what and now what.<br><br><strong>What:</strong><br>Was my role?<br>Actions did I take? <br>Did I base these actions on? <br>Was good or bad about the experience? <br><strong>So what</strong>;<br>Does this tell me? <br>Did I Base my actions on? <br>Could / should I have done better? <br>Any broader issues? <br><strong>Now what;</strong><br>Do I need to do to improve / does this tell me?<br>Might the consequences of my actions be?&nbsp;<br><br>What this means overall is that you first evaluate what your role is and what you have done initially.&nbsp;<br>Secondly you look at what this tells you, why you took these actions and do they have any further implications for yourself or students.&nbsp;<br>Lastly, you look at what might need improvement, resolve the previous issues and work though any consequences that have occurred. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Critical Reflection.<br>Teachers are considered to be excellent if they are continually reflecting along with their attitude for teaching.<br><br>The aim of being a critical reflector is to review as many different vantage points as possible.<br><br>Uses 4 lenses that can be used to reflect.&nbsp;<br><br>1) autobiographical<br>2) the students eye<br>3) our colleague's experiences<br>4) theoretical literature<br><br>the first uses the teachers experiences such as when they were a learner or from previous lessons...<br><br>the second is looking at the students point of view through such things as evaluations...<br><br>the third is getting advice from your colleagues and mentors...<br><br>the final one is looking at texts that are written by "experts"....<br><br></div>]]></description>
