Hi Mr Najib :) for the above essay question, what approaches would you suggest we take? 

Should we just compare the advantages and disadvantages of HP and NE? We need to bring in comparisons to fossil fuels as well, and do we do that within each paragraph?

I was thinking from this point of view:
Essay structure:
1. (NP&HP common advantage criteria) HP and NP are good alternatives + compare to FF (using criteria)

2. (NP&HP common advantage criteria) HP and NP are good alternatives + compare to FF

3. (NP disadvantage criteria) NP not a good alternative + compare it to FF

 As I was looking through my work, I do realise that I might have a problem regarding examples.
 
 I am pretty concerned about this because I read so many things in one day (whether through the Straits Times, or watching educational videos) that sometimes I lose out on certain details.
 
 For Geography essays, how much detail should I include (e.g. dates, percentages), and how ‘rough’ should my examples be? (e.g. exact values like 5% or 1997, or a range like 2-5% or the 1990s). 
 
 Is it also true that there is no leniency if I somehow quote my examples wrongly (that is not mentioned in the notes) [e.g. waste generated in 2021 from food packaging is about the volume of 35 swimming-pools]?
