They have eyes on their butt that allow them to look larger than they actually are. They do this by making their blood rush to their butt and make it enlarged; the predator mistakes it for a face and then jumps at the frogs giving the predator a mouth full of poison and registering the predator paralyzed.
Anatomy:
The frogs have a greyish brownish hue to them. Their "eyes" are actually just poisonous glands that will poison a predator if they attempt to eat the frog.
