Throughout the book I learned a lot of good life lessons and how to be a better teammate/player. I think Hope Solo did a really good job writing this book and making it child appropriate.

I really recommend this book to people who are struggling with adversity.

I really like this book because it gives a different point of view because in the show the main characters are boys but in this one it's a gender swap!

Okay so this is like the best book ever. I have seen only one person read this book and just from seeing the cover I fell in love with it. I saw that person reading this book 2 almost 3 years ago, and I just finished it in 7th grade. I know crazy right, I fell in love with a book 2 years ago and didn't start reading it until 2 years later. So I really recommend this book to people who like realistic fiction, and also people who like reading about drama and comedy. What I learned from this book is that when you are sick like the characters, you have to stay strong. Even if you have cancer like the people in this book and you know your not going to live that long you still have to live the best life you can live. I can't wait to watch the movie of this book!

This was the first time I've ever really read a book like this. The plot of the book was really different from most books I read. Most of the books I read have like morals or lessons that they give to the reader, but this book was just something that could happen in everyday high school lives. Even though I'm not in high school yet, I can tell that it can be kind of crazy. So I guess this kind of has a moral, because it teaches you that when you're older anything can happen and you can be a apart of something even if you don't really believe it. I really recommend this book to teen readers.

During the time I read this book, I was having some trouble with my effort because I play goalie and my coach was having me practice with all the players that play the field. I thought that playing with the field players was just dumb. I wasn't trying as hard as every one else so I needed some inspiration. I went to the bookstore and this book caught my eye. This book was about Carli Lloyd when she almost quit soccer because she got kicked off the U-19 woman's team. She had to realize that she needed to train her hardest to get back on top. I really recommend this book to athletes that are in a slump and are in need of a personal experience story.

Starr is a young teenage African-American woman who's not like all the other kids in her neighborhood. In Garden Heights everyone has either been in a gang from the west or the east side of the streets or are caught up with the selling of certain drugs. Except Starr who goes to an all white school in a different neighbor hood. All seems well for this 16 year old girl but one night one of her childhood friends is killed by a police officer right in front of her. This is when justice is about to be served. Honestly this book was very very very good. It inspires young teenagers to help stand for equality for all races and cultures. I really recommend this book to people who can relate or to people that just need a really good book that teaches you about the life of people who are in situations that they shouldn't be in. t can really teach you a thing or two.

Flora Banks is a 17 year old girl who had a tumor in her brain when she was 10 and had it removed when she was 11. When the tumor was removed it took the ability to make memories and keep them. All of this changes when she kisses her best friends boy friend on the beach the night before he moves to Norway. After that kiss she seems to remember it every well. She thinks that he is the reason she can remember again. So she sets off to Norway to find him. I didn't really think that this was a good book. It was actually kind of weird because she was basically mentally disabled and was literally self harming herself because she couldn't find the guy. Although I do recommend this book to someone who likes teenage love stories with not so happy endings.

This is the second book of the Dorothy Must Die series. I was so pleased with the first book I decided to read the second and I'm looking forward to reading the third book of this series. I can't really summarize this book because it all involves what happened in the first story and I don't want to spoil it. I do recommend this book to the people who have already read the first book which is a very good read.

This book takes place in the early years of our country in the Revolutionary War. This whole story takes place with one character, a slave named Curzon. He was once accompanied by a girl who was also a slave. After joining the army to fight against the British, he is later brought back into slavery. This book is a very good read. I recommend this book to people who like to read about historical fiction. There is also a book before this called "Chains" by the same author. It is in the perspective of the girl slave.

This book was the 2nd book I've ever read in that takes place in Colonial Times. It was also a 3rd person book. I've never really been a big fan of 3rd person point of views, but personally I really liked it. The book was about an African girl that is taken from Africa and was sold to a rice plantation. I really recommend this book to people that enjoy reading about African American History, or just American History in general.

This was really the first ever survival book I have ever read and enjoyed. This book is about an asteroid basically knocking the moon out of it's orbit and sending the world into literal natural disaster. Tsunami's, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, FLU!! You name it, it happened. The main character and her family have to survive without dying, which is really hard to not do considering the things that are happening to everyday people. I really recommend this book to people who love survival books, and for people who just love a good read that keeps them on the edge of their seat.
