This book was about Carli Lloyd when she almost quit soccer because she got kicked off the U-19 woman's team. She had to realize that she needed to train her hardest to get back on top. All seems well for this 16 year old girl but one night one of her childhood friends is killed by a police officer right in front of her. This is when justice is about to be served. Honestly this book was very very very good. It inspires young teenagers to help stand for equality for all races and cultures. When the tumor was removed it took the ability to make memories and keep them. All of this changes when she kisses her best friends boy friend on the beach the night before he moves to Norway. After that kiss she seems to remember it every well. She thinks that he is the reason she can remember again. So she sets off to Norway to find him. I didn't really think that this was a good book. It was actually kind of weird because she was basically mentally disabled and was literally self harming herself because she couldn't find the guy. There is also a book before this called "Chains" by the same author. This book is about an asteroid basically knocking the moon out of it's orbit and sending the world into literal natural disaster. Tsunami's, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, FLU!! You name it, it happened. The main character and her family have to survive without dying, which is really hard to not do considering the things that are happening to everyday people.
