<title>What is PBL?PBL is a big challenge for me as a teacher, but I like challenges. I started the project work in the classroom this year and I&#39;m very excited. My biggest concern is the pressure we feel as teachers of completing the program and for this I will have to manage the time and tasks of the classroom very well. With this course I hope to improve this pedagogical approach in the classroom, knowing new strategies and exploring new digital tools. Why use PBL?In Italy, there are some schools with innovative methodologies. However, the PBL is not a common approach in our education system. In my opinion this happens for several reasons: the curriculum is very demanding and we as teachers are pressured to comply, the required student assessment is not appropriate for this type of approach, many of the schools do not have the right conditions to develop this approach in the classroom - which is not the case in my school, because this has been a concern and there have been developments in this regard. In addition, everything that is different or that gives a lot of work, people have a tendency to resist.Reflections on my current teaching practiceThis year I began to develop the PBL in my classroom to allow students to question themselves, research and share information about the subject and get a solution to the problem. I am using this approach in a 1st grade class with 14 year old students, and the subject of work is the history of art from the Greek to the Roman period. PBL Assessment is the most challenging for me to realize because of our curriculum which requires very regular summative assessments </title>
