Con: There are so many options and avenues to use for Google Classroom. This could be time-consuming to learn and implement with a lot of trial and error. 

Con: how would I implement in this PE? Also, curriculum seems is not free and for public education this could be an issue for teachers to afford something like this. 

Con: students may miss what the teacher is saying in order to get to the game – even though the game is learning- it could become a distraction and does not have a lot of collaboration with other students. 

Con: not free for educators. There is a free 30-day trial but after that educators must pay and again, for educators in the public education system this may not be feasible. 

Con: the website doesn’t create an eye-opening picture to what the program can offer. It is very statistical and research based- which requires a lot of reading and research on your own. Other websites make all important information readily seen on the opening page. 

Con: cannot host more than 100 people on the Free plan. Some schools have over 100 employees and this would not be conducive for these large companies. Large groups would pay from $150-$240 a year. 

Con: more for assessments and not helping create lessons, teaching content

Con: confusing in the shop section where you can buy the books for students that cost about $120 each and not sure how much the online program cost. 

·         Con: Works best with headphones or earbuds which may not be provided by the school district. 

·         Con: Not all parents will be able to afford the at-home premium membership which would mean that some students might be missing out on the additional fun advantages of the game. 

·         Con: Older students may become bored with the program as it is geared toward younger students.

·         Con: Often overused in the classroom which diminishes the value of the program as students become bored. 

·         Con: Students with slower internet may experience delays when trying to gain access to their classroom.

·         Con: Not visually appealing for students in lower grades. 

·         Con: Could hinder the face-to-face relationship building between teacher and student, as the student could depend on this app more than actually speaking to their teacher in person.

·         Con: Requires the purchase of a license to use. 

Con: If a student does not have a device to access Google Classroom from home, they would not be able to engage in a lesson outside of the classroom.

Con: Student programs are not available on smartphones or Kindles.

Con: The lessons only go up to 8^th grade.

Con: Only works for 2^nd – 6^th grade.

Con: All components of iReady must be purchased.

Con: Students must have a device that supports Zoom and reliable internet.

Con: The data assessment of students is extremely detailed so it can become confusing.

Con: Teachers must be sure parents will actively use the app, so they are able to stay updated.

Con: Only provides learning up to 8^th grade.
