Favourite holiday location was not necessary. Questions were interpreted correctly. I could have received a wider variety of responses as the majority of the sample were male, although there were a wide range of ages. A questionnaire is better for this research question as it gives a wider range of information from different demographics meaning the information could be generalised later on. Next time I would ensure the sample has even numbers of men and women, and have slightly more relevant questions to help understand the research question better.

I answered my research question, however, it was quite broad and people had different opinions. There was one unnecessary question. All the questions were clear so everyone understood. Some questions got a varied response but some got very similar answers. A questionnair was good for background knowledge on my research question. However, some of the questions could have been more open ended. There were couple of unnecessary questions so it could be sharpened up a bit. I got a variety of responses however they were extremes in terms of age 15-50, so if I widened the variety of responses it would improve my validity. The questionnaire was a good choice for my research question because it got me quantitative responses and some qualitative responses. Due to the provision of som eanswers (multiple choice) it meant there was little room for for lack of interpretation. However, didn't allow much extra detail to be added. Due to me asking questions people to a a variety of ages, many people have different levels of knowledge and understanding. I believe a questionnaire did provide basic answers and a good range of responses, however in comparison to the interview it did not provide much depth. This is because my questions for my interview were quite closed and did not encourage much discussion. What didn't go well: The sample size was too small, so I lacked confidence in my data. There was initial confusion around some of my questions, so I had to reword them to be more direct. 
What have you learned: The importance of a pilot questionnaire, to make sure all of the questions work well. However, the interview did not really explore the concept of my research question enough and often resulted in short or unexplained answers.
