We are proud to be members of the Greggs Foundation. Greggs started supporting out Breakfast Club in March 2024. Their support means that we are able to offer a free place in Breakfast Club for all! The Club is open from 7:45am. If you would like your child to attend Breakfast Club, please speak to Miss Parker, or the school office.

At the beginning and end of every school day, there are two entrances to drop off and pick up your children. The Cedars Avenue entrance and the Yardley Road entrance.
Both entrances are open from 8:30am. The school doors are opened to children at 8:40am.
Children cannot be left unattended on the playground in the morning.
The school doors close at 8:55am and the Yardley Road gate is locked at this time. Any children arriving after 8:55am will receive a late mark on the register. All children who are late must be brought into school via the Cedars Avenue entrance and signed in by a parent/carer.
If children arrive after 9:30am, they will receive an unauthorised absence for the morning session.
All children should be collected at 3:20pm unless they are in a club.
Children who are picked up late must be collected from the office and parents/carers will be required to pay a fee of £5.00, payable to the school upon collection – this money will help part-fund additional staffing costs that arise when it is necessary to supervise a child past usual school hours.

NHS guidance states:

If your child has mild symptoms, such as a runny nose, sore throat, or slight cough, and feels well enough, they can go to school.

If a child's attendance falls below 90%, they are classed as persistently absent.

We want to work together with families to improve attendance. If your child’s attendance becomes a concern, you may receive a letter from Miss Parker inviting you to come to an Early Help meeting. This meeting will either be with Miss Inniss or school’s Education Welfare Officer, Uzma Qamar. The meeting is designed to be purely supportive and will give you the opportunity to raise any concerns you have that may be affecting your child’s attendance. Miss Inniss/Uzma will then be able to offer guidance and support.
