Stromae is a realist. This means that he accepts situations, whether good or bad, and discusses them. Logically, he expresses his realism throughout his songs. 

Stromae used to be a rapper. He even collaborated with Kanye West; and this is what ultimately rose him to fame. 

Stromae's father died in 1994 during the Rwandan Genocide. 

Stromae's mother insisted that he and his siblings play an instrument and a sport. The sport is unknown, although the instrument of choice was the drums. (Also a variety of Procussion instruments
