One of my favorite examples of imagery found in the book is a moment Keith is describing Jane "When she rounded the corner, I was struck by how radiant she looked. While my thinning hair is speckled with gray, hers is still as dark and full as the day I married her... I saw a small diamond pendant I'd purchased in the first few years of our marriage... I can honestly say that I have never grown inured to her beauty." He is a struggling husband trying to bring back the love in his marriage.
