I have never participated in a KA 1 erasmus before but my school is planning to apply now. Luckily our application will be accepted and our school will get to know all the excitement and knowledge that mobility to other school and seminars offer. I totally agree with the rwsults of the study. Is a great opportunity to learn different educational systems and learn new teaching ideas.

I attended a KA2 Erasmus +(Transnational meeting "Healthy minds for happy lives") in my school, but I have never experienced international mobility.

I've experienced job shadowing for 2 weeks in Portugal, many years ago in a Socrates funded project and I feel I learned more through it than in several teachers' training courses I've been attending in my teaching career.

I did not experienced yet an international mobility, but this year I will do. I am really excited. I know that this will bring great benefits to me, my colleagues and my school. I am already experiencing the enthusiasm of all my colleagues involved in the mobilities. We are all learning, studying a new language or improving our english. We are taking courses such as this one in order to increase our knowledge of Erasmus Projects Opportuinities and to disseminate better the principles of Erasmus in our school. I expect that teachers and students will become more active and willing to travel, to know other countries and open up their minds.

I have experienced a Comenius international mobility, but not an Erasmus+ one. I find the results of the study challenging, because i have never thought of a mobility aimed on job shadowing for teachers before. The biggest benefit of a mobility is the opportunity to collaborate with teachers and to learn from specialists from all over Europe. A major benefit is to live for a short period of time in another country and to share traditions, customs and culture

I was involved in a KA1 project that our municipality did about early school leaving. We were several organisations and in mixed pairs we went to different places in Europe to seach for answers. I was paired with a VET teacher from another town and we went to Vienna to research about students view on vocational training schools. It was very interesting. I now want to do a KA1 project about entrepreneurship for migrants...

I was involved in previous programmes, such as Comenius and Leonardo da Vinci, involving mobility, both with students and teachers. In my opinion these opportunities are most important to provide teachers across Europe further knowledge about the different education systems and the different methods of teaching and learning. It was on these process that I learn what PBL was and started using e-learning platforms such as Blackboard Learn, Dokeos and others. The sharing between partners was also of great importance, not only in professional matters but also in understanding the different contexts and the diversity of cultural and social backgrounds. Broaden my horizons and giving me the motivation to carry on solving problems with different approaches.

Yes, I have already experienced international mobility in Turkey and in Finland. In Turkey I applied individually; Finland was part of my school’s Erasmus + project – staff mobility.

Both experiences were extremely enriching for me, not only as a person but also as a teacher. Deepening our understanding of other countries and cultures as well as having the chance to know different education systems are some of the best benefits. If you commit yourself to a mobility, that is, when you mingle, interact, are open-minded, are curious, then you get plenty of knowledge and very good examples/ ideas /tips to experiment and share once you get home and back to your school. I still cherish the friends I made in these mobilities!

Last year I did a job shadowing in Romania. For one week, I had the opportunity to share lessons with two Romanian colleagues at an Economical School located in Tirgu Mures. Apart from sharing learning methodologies concerning Accounting and Financial Maths, I was involved in a selection board in order to assess students’ presentations.

When finishing this experience I felt I was able to act as a teacher in another country, to interact with colleagues and students, to feel comfortable in a different school background. Definitely, I decided not to miss any chance to develop my professional skills. From then on, I strongly believe Erasmus + is the best way to improve my teaching skills.

I participated in KA1 International Youth Meeting in Poland for several years. The biggest benefit of international mobility for my students was gaining new competences and knowledge in their field of interest. Moreover, the students developed their self-esteem, intercultural competences and tolerance for other cultures. In addition, the students had fun and had memorable time. I have participated in a KA1 mobility to take part in a course and the experience was great in various levels: learning, training and sharing knowledge and experiences from other participants; meeting teachers from several countries in Europe and to be able to set a networking group to develop other projects like eTwinning and school partnership in KA2 projects; to understand different cultures; to understand how others can manage common problems; to improve my skills and other teachers' and also the working dynamics in my school. Teaching participation in mobility is a unique training resource. When the teachers of an organization are aware of limitations in their activity and there is a way to perceive how others can successfully overcome common problems, the possibility of observing how they do it in context is extremely useful. I have participated in a Comenius Programme in 2013. The application process was different then, and I applied for the course on my own. I went to Exeter, UK, and the course was on "British Institutions, Language and Culture". It was definitely a great opportunity and experience. I agree with the study results presented. There are several benefits of international mobility and for me the biggest benefits are getting to know different cultures, different educational systems, new teaching strategies and methodologies and another important benefit is getting to know teachers from different countries and establishing important partnerships and possibilities of networking and developing other projects in the future.

I had the opportunity to take part in an Erasmus+KA1 Staff mobility project last year and it surely was an experience of a lifetime! The course was very interesting , our instructor very competent and my fellow European colleagues friendly and open!
I had the chance to exchange ideas and I was introduced to new teaching methods/techniques and tools!!!

I have already experienced an international mobility through Erasmus+ and it has been one of the most interesting training proposals I lived

Reading the study results I agree with most of the conclusions:

the project application form could be less complex
the evaluation of the dissemination process should focus on the type of proposals implying workshops or events like that.
feedback of the quality of courses is really important. A rating system of course providers would help to select with greater success.
strategic thinking and project competency should be developed with more help from national agencies.
the national curriculum is not affected by these pedagogical experiences.

Other issues to take into consideration in future experiences are:

not all the teachers who do not participate in the project see the experience as an important opportunity for the school to change the school teaching strategy, so we should introduce new ways to show the benefits of the project.
teaching abroad is not easy for many participants in Erasmus + projects: personal and family situation hamper this kind of mobility.
families should be more and better informed to see the project benefits for their children.

I took part in the Youthpass, a Youth exchanges, Prodelta 2014. The project took place from 30/06/2014 to 07/07/2014 in Loutraki, Greece and I attended a seminar at the University of Barcelona on 15 November, 2018, Spain, and it was important because I felt more motivated, learned a lot and allowed me to better understand the world and to be closer to people and their cultures.
The largest benefit was expanded my knowledge and understanding of the education system.

I have had the chance to carry out and experienced Comenius and Erasmus Ka1 and 2 projects. I really believe on the benefits that those experiences can have on teachers' professional development and personal attitude too. I've been to 3 KA1 mobilities so far. They were job shadowing. The biggest benefit of an international mobility is that you breathe the air in the school you visit; everything is real there. The whole school strives to give you what you need. You make friends of the same interest, similar and/or different situations and problems. You also have the opportunity to introduce your country, school and work directly to the relevant people. You learn new things and create with colleagues. not only your school and students, others from neighbouring schools benefit from your experiences.

I was one of the first students of Turin University in experiencing an Erasmus Student Programme in the late 90s. It's been amazing, it taught me to be open-minded towards the world and new challenges. As I haven't had the chance to do it as a Teacher so far, I'm looking forward to, I'm very keen on job-shadowing since I think it's the best way to see and learn how best practices work. I haven't experienced international mobility yet, but I'm eager to experience it soon. Our school is in KA1 project. I expect to learn more about other cultures and their schools' methodologies. I'm very interested in a specific field and subject - DRAMA, that isn't taught at Italian schools. I consider it really a great opportunity for all the students and age groups. I'm Croatian and when I was a child I attended drama classes at a local theatre for children and youth and I've already had my own experience. That's why I'd like to learn from other s chools where DRAMA is considered a subject. I teach English and I'm already doing a lot of role playing, but I'd like to see and experience how it works in other countries. In my case this could be a practical benefit of international mobility.

I've never experienced Mobility. I expect to learn new and interesting ways of teaching, evaluating and dealing with today's students. Each generation is different from the previous one and we (teachers) need to adapt our way of teaching in order to reach out to them. Also, I get bored of doing the same thing over and over again, so I like to vary my teaching methods. Mobility seems the perfect way to do that.

I have experienced a Comenius International mobility, as part of a school project and a Study Visit, which I applied individually. More recently I have experienced a KA1 mobility in Finland, part of my school’s Erasmus + KA1 – staff mobility.
These experiences were extremely fulfilling for me, both as a teacher and as a learner. They gave me the opportunity to broaden my horizons, visit and learn about other countries and their cultures and know different education systems and teaching methods.
Undoubtedly these experiences made me more aware of our world and made me grow as a European citizen.

My experience tells me that I learn a lot in international mobilities. It is a time when I am free for devoting myself entirely to the course and I profit it to the end.
I have had 2 extraordinary experiences...my problem is that I do them in holidays when I am too tired to get more and I think I could.

I participated in a -two weeks course in York in 2012 and this year we have an approved Ka 1 project,too. It was unforgettable for me since it was the first time I had been abroad. In the search results, job shadowing part make me suprise 'cause I haven't heard so much about it.

I had a job shadowing experience in Escola Secundaria Ibn Mucana, Portugal many years ago. It was part of an international project about how to differentiate the language teaching process to adapt it to students' different learning style and need. I learned a lot from the experience with my portuguese colleagues, so I'd like to have this opportunity again

I havce worked as language assistant and EFL teacher abroad and it's an experience I totally recommend! It gives you the opportunity not only to get to know another country, learn about its language and culture, but also to experience different ways of teaching and learning, it opens your mind to different viewpoints and lifestyles.

I haven't got any type of experience on mobility (neither as a visiting teacher nor as a guest) but I would like to make a try in the near future. This year I attend an eTwinning event in Madrid and I found it really interesting. Many teachers from different parts of Europe attend the event and it was a great chance to discover new realities (not always close to ours) and new experiences that may help us in our proffessional dimension. In fact, I thinkg the most intersting and enriching part of the job shadowing is this one, the chance of broadening our minds to new realities.

I haven't got any type of experience on mobility but I hope to make a try in the future, because I believe it is a very important experience that changes prospective on teaching.

I've already experienced international mobility in a project about stress-free schools.
I agree with the results presented above because it was an experience that enreached me a lot at different levels: professional and human.
According to me, the biggest benefit of international mobility is that you can think about a good practice, test it on a large group of students and share it. You have a larger view of a particural "subject" than if you work alone in your own school. Least but not last... if you have doubts you have collegues with different experience to ask for help.

I have never experienced international mobility, but I think the study results of staff mobility are correct. Each time I had the opportunity to get in touch with people from other countries or cultures, I encreased my knoledges and opend my mind to different life styles. As teacher I could notice the same in my pupils having the opportunities to travel and get acquaintance with other people and their habits. International mobility matters because it is more than a learning experience, it is a life experience that changes the participant's point of view and makes them feel citizens of the Union and not only of their home country.

I've never experienced a mobility opportunity within a KA1 but I had a mobility experience with south Korea. I spent 2 weeks in the south of South Korea in Daekwong Girls high school. I did jobshadowing but also teaching.This exchange remains as the most extraordinary experience I've ever had. I discovered a new culture, completely different from mine but also very far from what I expected. I had many cliches before leaving and I had to reconsider all my thinking. Teaching was very different from what we do in Europe especially regarding language teaching. It was the occasion to discuss with my partners about the important of the project based learning which was a concept South Korea did not know. I really loved this experience which forces me to look at thing in another way (Critical thinking) . I met wonderful teachers and students.

I was in Barcelona in 2017. My course "Web solutions for the classrooms" and the mobility itself had fufilled all my expectations. I learned something new in regarding web tools, but, also, I have the opportunity to exchange my teaching practise

I have done my first KA1 mobility in Prague this week about flipped classroom. Such a great experience! It was priceless to meet teachers from different countries and share experience, learn about their culture, tradition, habits and school practices. I have gained more knowledge and understanding of other cultures and other countries' educational systems; it made me more open to innovations and new experiences. My school also has benefits beacuse by applying new methods learnt during mobilities my students will be more motivated, which will result in better results, raising teachers' self-confidence and the image of our school as well as of the local community where my school is situated. Also, dissemination activities will encourage other teachers change their way of teaching and become more active in international projects. eTwinning and Erasmus have enriched my professional and private life.
