The trees crashed against each other 
Looking up at the sunset, birds indicating that day was coming

A twisting flow of the calm lake 
The rocky shoreline surrounded the lake

The eerie silence was deafening. 
The carpet of thick, green,impenetrable trees towered over the shoreline of the lake.
Occasionally, there was a faint sound of a distant animal stepping and crunching on the leaves scattered on the damp ground.
