The Mound Builders were known for creating mounds or, "earthworks", which researchers  suspected were used for religious purposes. The Missisipian culture, just like the Mound Builders, used the earthworks for religious purposes. The main differences between the Missispians and the Mound Builders is that the Missisipian people thrived in southeast America and in a few areas-now states west of the Mississippi River.</div>]]></description>

Cabrillo was known for his expeditions across the West Indies and his mission in 1519 to travel to Mexico in order to arrest Hernan Cortes, a rival Spanish explorer who was also considered corrupted by some. However, Cabrillo failed in his attempt to arrest Cortes and instead joined him in his attack on the Aztec empire.</div>]]></description>
