One of the main results of the conference was the Versailles Treaty. Which made Germany assume full responsibility for the war, paying reparations of up to 2.7 trillion dollars, limited its military, prevented them from having navy or airfare, demilitarized the Rhineland, returned Alsace Lorraine to France and stripped Germany from there colonies. The Germans had no other option but to sign but their resentment would continue for two decades and would spark a new war.
