1. During HBL period, there was daily check in for students to express their concerns and teachers used SLS for journal writing. Teachers also gave CarePAC for students to encourage them. Teachers assured students that they would work with them when everyone is back in school to reduce their stress and calm them down. Teachers gave students more time to complete their work.
2. In school during HBL period, the team in school looked out for the high-need students who required more support and who were in distress. Cheryl was there to check with them on what happened and communicate it with Teachers and parents. Also after they had completed their homework, activities were prepared for them (eg art and craft, educational videos etc), so that they were not left with nothing to do. There was a lot of positive reinforcement and encouragement to do their work.
